Smart PCN @ Diehl Controls:
For the Corporate Procurement department is important to track all changes related at purchased components. By possibilities of smartPCN we are able to match efficiently PCN/PDN with affected material and project out of our database which consists of more than: 30.000 single components, 16.000 material part numbers, 700 BOM’s within system. The appropriated workflows tasks including smartPCN data are distributed by PCN Manager within organization at our sites, which are placed at three continents worldwide. After introduction of smartPCN we were able to track running activities/tasks related to PCN/PDN, perform internally and customer audits on it.
